MultiPoint Servers for Education

What do you do if you want to get a computer in front of every student at school or employee at work but you have a limited budget, support staff, amperage in the rooms, and/or network? Learn how the Glendale Elementary School District put over 3,000 computing stations in their classrooms at a fraction of the cost of traditional computers, laptops, tablets or VDI... and with almost no adjustments to their network, cabling and power. A new product called Microsoft MultiPoint Server allows you to take a $1,000 computer and connect up to 20 low-cost computing stations to it through USB/VGA cables, existing computers, or zero-client network stations. It’s fast, it’s less expensive than the alternatives (no reoccurring costs!), and it could be a long-term solution for schools, libraries, and small businesses.
