Rich is the Chief Information Security Officer at American Traffic Solutions. He has over 30 years of experience in information protection. He started as an EW/ECM Systems Repairman in the Army Security Agency, learning security from the “dark side.” Rich created the security programs for Mission Operations at Johnson Space Center, NASA, the Texas Office of the Attorney General and Early Warning Services. He has also has provided security support to companies such as Dell, Amoco, and the universities of Texas and Houston. He has degrees in Management and Computer Science from the University of Maryland. He is an Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) Distinguished Fellow, former ISSA International President, member of the ISSA Honor Roll and 2014 inductee into the ISSA, Information Security, Hall of Fame.
