Margaret Smith-Marchese is Vice President and West Region IT Manager for the Northern Trust Company. Margie is responsible for supporting 23 wealth management offices across six states and building out and supporting Northern Trust’s new Tempe Operating Center. During the course of her tenure with Northern Trust, Margie has managed various IT initiatives and teams including IT procurement, messaging platform and application teams, and has extensive experience with real estate buildouts.
Prior to Northern Trust Margie held a variety of technology roles for the New York Stock Exchange, MBA Performance Consulting/NOI Strategies, JMB Realty/Urban Properties, Circle Fine Art, and Technology Solitons Company. In addition to technology initiatives, Margie devotes a large portion of her time to Diversity and Inclusion, Employee Engagement, and affinity groups at Northern Trust, including the LGBT business resource council for Tempe Operating Center. She has her Associates Degree from Paradise Valley Community College.
