A New Way to Think about Mobile Computing

Mobile computing is on everyone’s mind these days.  Some of the questions being asked are:

• Should it be in the cloud?
• Should I focus on Android, iOS, Windows phone or something else?
• How do I control the end point?
• Is it secure?
• How do I keep it private?
• What do we do if the device is lost or stolen?

Is it possible to change to a new way of thinking that is different from previous approaches?  When looking to the future and how information will be delivered, the ultimate question IT must answer is:

“How do I deliver the right information to the people who need it, at the right time, on any platform, at any time in a secure and private manner?” 

This session will explore some of the principles affecting what works, and what does not on the path to answering this question.
