Christine Kirkpatrick has two decades experience in IT leadership, in both the public and private sector.  She currently leads the IT division at the University of California’s (UC) San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC), an internationally known leader in High Performance Computing (HPC) and data management expertise.  Christine has worked at UC San Diego for 17 years with past positions at Intuit and several healthcare-related software companies.  Christine holds a Masters from UC San Diego in Architecture-based Enterprise Systems Engineering.  For the past decade, Christine has taught a spectrum of courses related to building online courses, pedagogy, technology for K-12 instructors and making your online course accessible.  Christine has a particular passion for making electronic resources accessible to those with disabilities and is the founder of the UC system’s Electronic Accessibility Leadership Team.
