Peter Beruk, a twenty year veteran in the software industry, leads the worldwide anti-piracy marketing and communications efforts for the Business Software Alliance (BSA), the voice of the world's commercial software industry and its hardware partners before governments and in the international marketplace.

Mr. Beruk had previously worked with BSA as Chair of the Internet Committee while at McAfee, where he was employed for six years as director of anti-piracy/copyright compliance. He was previously vice president of anti-piracy programs at SIIA, responsible for coordinating the SIIA’s worldwide enforcement and education anti-piracy efforts on behalf of its member companies. His responsibilities also included initiating SIIA’s Internet anti-piracy campaign in 1996.

He is a graduate of Cornell University and currently resides in the Washington, DC area.
