I look at this game/phenomena from a different perspective...what if Angry Birds were used as a metaphor for software engineering? That's right, all of this time, right in front of your very face. It is all right there. Hidden in plain sight.
The lessons we will learn include: productivity, psychology of success, managing expectations, resource allocation, the value of roles, team dynamics, iterative processes, project management, continuous process improvement and ultimately helping to discover personal enlightenment.
It's true, all of this can be taken from a game that consists of chucking birds.
