Mickey Tan has served as the Chief Technology Officer for Basic Media Group for 13 years. Basic Media Group publishes high-quality custom magazines, books and digital properties in the fields of health, wellness, fitness, sports nutrition and mixed martial arts. Mickey has worked in the media and publishing field for the last 24 years, and includes stints with Vertis, Inc., a national printer that was recently acquired by Quad/Graphics, and the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, a daily newspaper based in Ontario, California. Mickey attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, graduating at the age of 20 with a BS in Computer Science and Math.
