Cicero

Currently, I am a graduate student at Houston Baptist University and the Director of Technology at a Houston area private high school.  With over 20 years in education and technology, I am preparing myself for the next disruption in education.  A change that I believe will blend technology with pedagogy in such a way that empowers self-reliant learners.  See my Bio Collage

2009 to Present, the Director of Technology for Episcopal High School, in Houston Texas. Provide visionary leadership to the school’s technology plan. Oversee classroom technologies, the school network, and 1:1 laptop program.

1993 – 2009, the Director of Technology for the Masters School, Dobbs Ferry, New York.  Provided leadership and vision for the school’s campus wide technology plan.  Contributed to several new technology initiatives including a new science building with computer labs, a campus LAN that included four dormitories, and the modernization of a computer lab. Oversaw the faculty and Staff 1:1 and student BOYD programs.

1992 – 1993, ESL teacher.

1988 -1990 – Associate Degree in Liberal Arts, Green Field Community College, Greenfield, Massachusetts.

1990 -1992 – Bachelor Degree in Spanish Language and Linguistics. Suma Cum Laude

1996 – 1998 – Master Degree in Computer Science, La Salle University in Mandeville, Louisiana.
v 2012 – Present Master Degree in Education with Curriculum Instruction with Technology. Houston Baptist University. Kappa Delta Pi.

Building on one tour of Duty U.S. Air Force, as a member of the Civil Air Patrol, provide instruction in Emergency Service response to cadets of TX 360. Deputy Brigade Commander, Echo Company, First Cadet Training Brigade, Army Cadets of America. Boy Scout Venture Crew Assistant Leader, Venture Crew 360.

Membership: NOBA, ISAS, NAIS, ASCD, ISTE, SPC/DOT, AUSA, and AFA.
